Nancy McKinney is the proprietress of Pleasant View Farm Bed and Breakfast Inn. She and her husband, Mike, bought Pleasant View Farm 20 years as their family home. When they retired from home building, they decided to start the B&B. “We quickly began getting phone calls for weddings and so quite accidentally are now in the wedding and event venue business!” Nancy explains.
Pleasant View specializes in small weddings and events of 100 guests or less. The charming farm venue includes a rustic barn and water and pasture views. Nancy’s favorite New Cumberland memory is date night with her husband when they would go to the movies at the old theater and have dinner upstairs next door. She enjoys taking guests to Nick’s 114 for dinner and looks forward to the Apple Festival every year.
