Frank Kelly has lived in New Cumberland since 1966, save for a brief stint in Shiremanstown. If you ask him, he’ll tell you that New Cumberland chose him … and he chose New Cumberland! Growing up here, Frank was part of the junior fire department and worked at the West Shore Pastry Shop. After graduating from high school, he worked various places before starting his business in a second-floor office he rented from Cliff King at CliffMar.
Frank’s favorite New Cumberland memory is the Spirit of 1776 Freedom Train passing through town. He also enjoys the annual Christmas tree lighting and all the sports available in and around town. He can’t say enough about the town’s walkability: “New Cumberland is a very walkable community no matter where you live,” he notes. “If you live in town, you can walk to many restaurants, bars, and the grocery and drug store, as well as other specialty shops!”
