Join us on May 7 for Community Day in downtown New Cumberland.
On Saturday, May 7, join the excitement of New Cumberland Community Day from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. on 3rd, 4th, and Market Streets in downtown New Cumberland. The streets will be bustling with residents and visitors from near and far exploring all that our town has to offer.
Hosted by the New Cumberland Business & Professional Group, Community Day promises to offer something for everyone:
- Free children’s activities
- Family-friendly entertainment
- Fine artisans and crafters
- Food and beverage vendors
- Local businesses and organizations
- Guided tours of historic downtown
- Scavenger hunt with prizes
- Farmers Market on 4th
NEW this year is the Need A Hand, Lend A Hand Health Fair, a special section of the event that will spotlight area healthcare agencies, social services and support groups for seniors, youth, and individuals with special needs. Learn what our local health and social service agencies do and how you might help, and obtain information for you, your family, and friends.
PLUS, be one of the first to walk through the newly renovated West Shore Theatre! After several years of planning and construction, the Friends of the West Shore Theatre, Inc. is finally ready to reveal all the hard work and effort that went into revitalizing this historic and beautiful building. Get your sneak peak, snap a picture, and stay tuned for more details about our soft opening to follow as well as our Grand Opening Weekend May 13–15!
